Unite All Workers for Democracy (UAWD) is a grassroots movement of rank-and-file UAW members, united in our vision of class struggle unionism and fighting to build a militant, democratic UAW. Daily Struggle is the voice of UAWD, from the frontlines of the class struggle, by and for UAW members.

The Daily Struggle Charter lays out how the UAWD membership can approve positions for publication: "The UAWD membership may pass a motion that directly calls for publication of a piece, either with complete language, partial language, or by calling on the EB to write a piece communicating a position." With ballots mailing this week for the UAW International Executive Board election, we share why the UAWD membership voted to not endorse any candidates at our meeting last week, despite running the campaign to elect Shawn Fain four years ago. We explain our assessment that Fain has been co-opted and re-entrenched the old-guard Administration Caucus, and why neither Fain nor any of his opponents have met the low and achievable bar put forward in our IEB Endorsee Program for building a militant UAW.
